It was simple to install, but I had to test it a lot to get the distances and stuff setup correctly. In addition to the flush timing options, it also does a 24 hour courtesy flush, so regardless of if the sensor is activated, it will flush once per hour.
The kit included all the tools you need except a phillips head screwdriver
The instructions were pretty vague, but I was able to install it myself without any plumbing experience whatsoever. Allow at least an hour due to the time required to experiment with sensor settings and location.
The product itself seems to work well. I had to fiddle with the connection between the device and the battery pack a few times before it worked fully, but once I figured it out, it works well.
Regular flush is 5 seconds after the object leaves the sensor range. Extended wait is 7 seconds total ... since when is 2 seconds "extended" ... I'd prefer it to be at LEAST...

We have been using this for a month now
We installed this autoflusher at home for our two cats about a month ago. We have toilet-trained both our cats and they use the toilet constantly during the day. It works perfectly and it was easy to install. It not only works for our cats, but it also flushes after we use the toilet. I recommend it for anyone with toilet-trained cats or that needs to install an autoflusher at home. Please be aware that the manufacturer does not recommend using this product with a float ball toilet-fill valve. We replaced our fill-valve with a fluidmaster valve before installing it.
Poor Quality Sensor
I bought it for my already 6 & 7yrs toilet trained cats.
First, it came missing a mounting adapter for toilets with a square overflow tube, such as my toilet. The motor attaches to this adapter. Fortunately, I did not need it and was able to attach the motor to the side wall mounting adapter. All the parts shown in the advertisement is what you get, plus several wall mounting screws and adapters. The advertisement does not show the missing square overflow tube mounting adapter. It's possible this part may not be needed anymore.
Second, the sensor battery compartment does not fully fit AA rechargeable batteries. The diameter of AA rechargeable batteries are a bit wider. The batteries pop out and you have to tape them in place. It is a very tight fit for standard AA batteries.
Third, during setup, the sensor distance Philips screwdriver adjustment dial is impossible to adjust to the correct distance. It is analog and highly sensitive. A slight twitch and...
