I'm a fan of multiclad cookware, the kind that takes heat conductive aluminum and surrounds it with easy to maintain stainless steel. Professional cooks swear by it, but I'm just a home cook, and didn't even know about until a few years ago while watching America's Test Kitchen. This popular PBS series tests kitchenware, and reports their recommendations via their TV show, as well as 2 different magazines they publish. decent cookware at a decent price
I don't see the spotting that others have reported. A bit of white lime but that is not the fault of the cookware. Noticed that these are bit more expensive than other sets. Perhaps they are of a better quality. So far I'm very happy with them.

This cuisinart cooking set is perfect for my cooking needs. Awesome heavy duty quality, non stick, and looks great. I've cooked eggs, ground beef, pasta sauce, brown rice, pasta and steamed vegetables with this set all with ease, cleaning these pots and pans is very quick and easy as well.
