Some complain the temperature settings are not accurate. Who cares? What does "medium" mean on standard range?
As with any cook top, you have to learn its secrets for temperature settings by trial and error (we live 6,000 ft above sea level. I can assure you that if you live in most of the country, your temperature settings will be very different for ours where water boils around 200 degrees).
The fan is irritatingly noisy.
It boils water faster than our smooth top range.
The included Teflon pot is pretty good, but if you really want to see what top rate cooking is like, Costco's $165 13 piece tri-metal stainless steel pot and pan set is indispensable.

The item will be used in our RV. I received the original unit, but the lid was damaged. Sent it back, and received a replacement. Still waiting on response from vendor over any charges. The unit itself is excellent, and meets our requirements.
This product gets the job done!
We saw this product being used at Sam's Club for the taste of Sam's sampling. The lady was cooking bacon for sampling and it was cooking so quickly. That's when we said we have got to have one of those induction hot plates. We do alot of cooking outside and this product is perfect.
